This site does not include analytics, advertising networks, remarketing tags, or social media tracking scripts. Optional third-party payment processing is only made available through Stripe-hosted checkout when you enable the payment feature and chooses to donate.
Essential storage: We store the privacy choice, notice version, and technical state needed to avoid repeatedly prompting the same browser. This is used to keep the site operating correctly and to respect the visitor’s choice.
Optional game preferences: If the visitor allows local saving, SGD Snake can store display settings and best scores in the browser on that device.
Optional donations: If the visitor enables payment services and starts a donation, we send the selected amount and session metadata to Stripe to create a hosted checkout session. Stripe can then process payment data, device and network identifiers, fraud-prevention signals, and any information the donor enters during checkout.
Essential storage and security logging: legitimate interests and, where applicable, technical necessity to provide the requested service.
Game preferences and Stripe donation enablement: consent. These optional features are off until you enable them, and they can be withdrawn through Privacy Settings at any time.

We use Stripe as our payment service provider for optional donations. Stripe may collect and process payment, transaction, device, and fraud-prevention data in connection with the hosted checkout flow. Stripe also explains that Stripe.js and related payment services can involve cookies and similar technologies for fraud prevention, authentication, and service analytics where those services are used.

No data is transferred or processed outside the EEA or UK for this site. Stripe describes its transfer approach and safeguards in its privacy documentation.
Privacy preference storage is kept for up to 6 months unless the visitor clears it sooner. Optional browser game settings and best scores remain on the device until the visitor withdraws consent or clears browser storage. Donation and accounting records are only retained via stripe for as long as required by the applicable tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-handling obligations of Stripe and the state of Ireland.
This website does not collect or store personal data directly; payments are processed securely via Stripe Checkout, and users’ rights are protected under applicable Irish and EU data protection legislation, including the GDPR.
You can reopen Privacy Settings on the landing page and turn off optional local saving or Stripe donation enablement as easily as they were turned on. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while consent was active.
